    Product Description

    The Transport Stand Assist is an excellent stand assist device as it works to provide safe and dignified mobility assistance for caregivers and individuals looking to help those from beds, toilets, wheelchairs, sofas and more. Stand assist devices are far more effective and respectful options than transport chairs and sling lifts as they reduce the risk for the user and the injury risk for the caregiver.  

    This assistive device has a strong steel frame, kept lightweight so it can support up to 400 pounds. Shin pads, seat surfaces and hand grip pads offer support without excess pressure. The Transport Stand Assist is timed with ease of gliding and carpet, effectively securing locking casters to stabilize the unit. It is designed for those with irreversible mobility restrictions, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, arthritis and different neuropathies.

    Product assembly

    First, I was unable to find the "video" that was to help with assembly of transport stand assist. The instruction pamphlet photos are mainly close up and causes questions as to what part is being assembled. Also having to place bolts into the base A and sides B were quite difficult to aligning holes after E bars are placed. We'll see how product works for the patient tomorrow. Then I'll update review.

    Transport.Stand Assist is such a help

    So happy to have found the Vive transport stand assist. It is very sturdy and safe. I can easily transport my husband when needed. It has solved the problem of how to do things safely.     Performs pretty good

    Performs pretty good. Helps out with my Mom. I need this product.
    Personally I would make a few design changes that would better for my needs. I would flatten the foot bed. Not have locking pins on the seat. Smooth out the seat and metal connection to protect from bruises etc.
