How to Cool Gel Packs:

  • Place each gel pack flat in the freezer for at least 2 hours

How to Heat Gel Packs in a Microwave

    Note
  • Gel pack must be at room temperature before heating in microwave
  • Place a single gel pack on a paper towel in the microwave
  • Heat at full power in 5-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached
  • Place in the lumbar roll pouch and apply to the affected area
  • Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time

How to Heat Gel Packs on a Stove Top

  • Bring 3 quarts (3.5 liters) of water to a boil
  • Remove water from the heat source. Note: Never immerse gel pack while water is being heated
  • Immerse gel pack in hot water for 2.5 - 3 minutes
  • Place in the lumbar roll pouch and apply to the affected area
  • Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time

Care Instructions:

  • Removable mesh cover is machine washable in cold water with a mild detergent
  • Tumble dry on low heat setting
  • Spot clean foam cushion with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed. Do not machine wash
