Carpet Protector

I am currently recovering from a foot reconstruction. Placing the pad under my bedside commode has been proven to be helpful protection for my living room carpet. The soft texture of the absorbent side allows my useable barefoot to glide ( and hop ) with comfort.

Very Good But Not Perfect

I am a caregiver for a person with dementia who has become incontinent. They now need to be awakened in the middle of the night to change wet night clothes and drenched Depends underwear to clean ones. The pad gets wet and sometimes leaks through to sheet. I soon realized I needed a second pad for the night change. Everything is wet again in the morning. I am now considering the larger size. I wash in hot (130 degrees and probably cooler by the time the water hits the cold machine) because cold water did not seem appropriate. I dry on regular heat. Launder daily. They are convenient to use, not perfect but very helpful and I am grateful.

It’s really easy. Machine wash the pad in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach or use excessive fabric softener. Make sure that detergents dissolve completely. Do not over dry or iron.
