Had ordered two hearing amplifiers and one had a problem. Customer Service replaced both and didn't even want the defective one back, saving me the time and energy of repackaging and mailing.

Since 2 orders were placed with the first one being defective, should be entitled to write a second review. This review applies to the good people of Vive that showed they will bend over backwards correct a glitch. Very courteous super prompt treatment and ended up being out nothing. Five stars all they way for this outfit. Second point needing to be shared is for some reason on Amazon listing Vive as the seller the reviews for this hearing amplifier are only fair, whereas another seller of this exact same item ($90 per pair) are excellent at 5 stars on over 90% of the reviews. Tend to believe the other seller's reviews as being more accurate. Have one note of criticism for Vive that the other seller adequately addresses. The claim is that this product has high fidelity specifications and that would apply also to hearing aids. Please,. please Vive list the 200Hz to 6,000 Hz frequency range and the notation high fidelity for more natural sound. A little bragging will be beneficial for your customers.

If it looks like a duck, waddles like a duck, and quacks like a duck it should be a duck. However, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) does not allow hearing devices to be represented as HEARING AIDS if not serviced by an audiologist and this device certainly is not a duck. It is a most modest priced quality HEARING AID suitable for those with mild non-progressive hearing loss without the issue of tinnitus not needing the intervention of an audiologist. This specific product stands in a class above other similar devices due its uncompromising frequency range (most start out at 400 to 500 Hz and end between 3,000 and 4,000 Hz with few reaching 4,500 Hz) of 200 Hz to 6,000 Hz. This translates into superior sound quality. The masterfully perfected means of simplistic on the ear adjustments for volume, power off and on and mode match or exceed hearing aids costing far far more than a thousand EACH. The price is incredibly cheap, the device is not The only thing that could make it better would a one wear warranty. Oh!, it has that too. It is said that if something sounds too good to be true it probably is not true. Guess what? This is an exception to that rule.
